General business terms and conditions of Odeja d.o.o. online shop on the www.odeja.si website are prepared in accordance with the slovenian Consumer Protection Act, recommendations of the slovenian Chamber of Commerce and international code for e-commerce.
Before shopping online, you should carefully read the listed terms and conditions.
By using the Odeja d.o.o. online shop on the www.odeja.si website, you accept the listed conditions. In case you do not accept the conditions, we ask you not to use the online shop.
- The provider is the company Odeja d.o.o., Kidričeva 80, 4220 Škofja Loka, Slovenia, which manages the online shop on the www.odeja.si website.
- The customer is the person who uses the provider’s website and the online shop on this website.
- The customer is the person who uses the tender’s website and shops in the system of the Odeja d.o.o. online shop, which operates on the www.odeja.si website.
- The Odeja d.o.o. online shop is an information system intended for presentation and sale of products.
- General business conditions concern the provider’s operation, customer rights and the provider-customer business relationship.

Upon registering in the online shop, the visitor receives a user name, which is the same as their e-mail address, and a password that they select themselves. The username and password unambiguously define the user and connect them with to the entered data. After the registration, the visitor becomes the user of the online shop and receives the right to purchase.
If the user wants to replace their e-mail address with a different one any time later, they can send a request to firstname.lastname@example.org. The replacement of the e-mail address will be carried out on the same day or, at latest, the next business day, and the user will be notified via e-mail.
General business terms and conditions concern the operation of the Odeja online shop (www.odeja.si), customer rights and the provider-customer relationship.
Access to information
(summary of the legislation)
The provider is committed to always ensure the following information to the customer:
a) company identity (name and place of business, number of registry),
b) contact information, which enables quick and efficient communication for the user (e-mail, telephone),
c) essential characteristics of the goods or services (including after-sales services and warranties),
d) product availability (every product or service, which is offered on the website, should be available in a reasonable time period),
e) conditions of product delivery or service performance (method, place and time of delivery),
f) all prices have to be clearly and unambiguously defined and it has to be clearly stated if they already include taxes and delivery costs,
g) payment and delivery method,
h) duration of the offer,
i) period within which it is still possible to withdraw from the contract and conditions for withdrawal; moreover about if and how much it would cost the customer to withdraw,
j) explanation of the complaint procedure, including all the information about the contact person or department for customer contact.
When the customer selects a product or products and places the order by pressing the “Checkout” button, the online shop automatically creates and sends an e-mail with the details about the order (number of the order, customer information, products, prices, quantities…). If the customer decides to pay on delivery or via PayPal, the provider shall send them purchased products within a maximum of 5 (five) business days after the confirmation of the order by the provider. If the customer will pay in advance, the provider will send the purchased products within a maximum of 5 (five) business days after a received payment on the provider’s transaction account.
In the event that the customer decides to cancel the order before the delivery of the goods, they must immediately notify the provider via the telephone number 04 51 30 155 (every day between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m., except Saturday, Sunday and holidays) or to the e-mail address email@example.com. If the order has already been dispatched, the customer refuses to accept the shipment from the delivery service. In case of personal pick up (when the goods are already ready for pick-up), the customer also communicates their desire for cancellation via aforementioned telephone number or e-mail address.
Right to withdraw from the purchase, return of goods
The customer has a right to notify the provider on the e-mail address firstname.lastname@example.org that they withdraw from the contract, within fifteen (15) days after placing the order, without saying what is the reason for this decision. It is considered that the message is timely, if the shipment is dispatched within the time limit.
The only cost incurred by the customer regarding the withdrawal from the contract, is the direct cost of the return of goods. These have to be returned to the company within the maximum of thirty (30) days after the withdrawal notification.
The products have to be completely unused, undamaged and in original packaging. The customer must also enclose the invoice with the returned products.
The refund of payment shall be made as soon as possible, but within the maximum of thirty (30) days after the received notification on the withdrawal from the contract. The refund will be carried out onto the customer’s transaction account.
The provider issues an invoice on a durable medium, with a breakdown of costs and a notification for the customer about the withdrawal from the purchase and how to return the products.
Methods of payment
The customer can pay for the ordered goods in 4 ways:
1. By a transfer on the provider’s bank account after a preliminary invoice or offer.
2. Via PayPal or credit cards (we use SIX Payment Services)
3. With cash on personal collection of the delivery (for the purhcases made and delivered in Slovenia).
All prices include VAT, unless it is specifically stated otherwise.
The prices are valid at the moment of the placed order and do not have a predetermined validity.
The prices are valid for aforementioned methods of payment, under aforementioned conditions.
Despite the provider’s efforts to ensure the most recent and accurate information, it may occur that the price information is wrong. In this case, or in case that the product price changes during the order process, the provider shall enable withdrawal from the purchase for the customer, and at the same time offer them a solution for mutual satisfaction.
The purchase agreement between the provider and customer is concluded at the moment when the provider confirms the order (the customer receives an electronic message that the order is confirmed). From that moment on, all the prices and other conditions are fixed and are valid for the provider as well as for the customer.
If you choose to pay on delivery or through PayPal:
- For products in stock, the dispatch of the ordered goods for the customer is within 1 to 5 business days after confirmation of your order.
- For products that are not in stock, we inform the customer about the possibility of delivery via e-mail or telephone.
If you choose to pay in advance:
- For products in stock, the dispatch of the ordered goods for the customer is within 1 to 5 business days after payment is received on our bank account.
- For products that are not in stock, we inform the customer about the possibility of delivery via e-mail or telephone.
The provider must deliver the goods or service in the promised time period. When placing an order, the customer can determine the address for delivery, which is binding tor the provider.
Upon delivery, the provider must offer additional information for the customer about their right of withdrawal, especially the conditions and way of exercising the right itself. They must ensure all the necessary information about the address that the customer can contact in the case of a complaint and the information about the warranty and repair or any other services after the conclusion of the contract.
In case that the customer (recipient) is not at the address at the time of delivery, the package may be picked up at a post office (to which the package was addressed) in 15 days. If the customer (recipient) does not pick up the package in 15 days, it is send back to the provider.
The contracting partner for shipment delivery is Pošta Slovenije, but the provider retains the right to choose another delivery service, if it can help to complete the contract more efficiently.

Validity of the offer
At the purchase, the prices are valid at the moment of the order confirmation. All prices include VAT, which is calculated on the basis of 48th and 49th article of ZDDV (The VAT Act), and is not disclosed on the basis of the article 50 C of ZDDV. The prices in the online shop may be changed without a prior notification. The pictures may only be symbolic and do not always completely reflect the real situation.
The provider uses appropriate technological and organizational means to protect the transmission and storage of personal data, orders, and payments.
The provider is allowed to communicate with the user of Odeja website or customer at Odeja online shop through the means of distance communication only if the user or customer do not explicitly object to it.
The contract, concluded between the provider and customer is, is permanently stored at Odeja d.o.o., Kidričeva 80, 4220 Škofja Loka, Slovenia, which manages the online shop.
Promotional e-mails by the provider must include the following parts:
- They must be clearly and unambiguously marked as promotional messages.
- The sender must be clearly visible.
- Different sales, promotions and other marketing techniques must be marked as such. Also, the conditions for participation have to be clearly stated.
- The wish by the user or customer not to receive promotional messages has to be respected.
The provider respects the existing consumer protection legislation. The provider has to set up an efficient system for dealing with complaints, and designate a person, who the user may contact in case of trouble, either via telephone or e-mail. The procedure for submitting complaints has to be available on websites, easy to use and confidential. The provider has to confirm a received complaint in five (5) business days, notify the user or customer of how long it will be discussed, and constantly inform them about the proceedings. The provider is aware that the key feature of consumer dispute, at least when it comes to solving the case on court, is its asymmetry between the economic value of the claim and costs incurred when resolving the case. This is the main obstacle that the consumer does not initiate the proceedings on court. This is why the provider uses their best endeavours that any disputes resolve amiably.
Personal data protection
Odeja d.o.o., Kidričeva 80, 4220 Škofja Loka, Slovenia, which manages the online store on website www.odeja.si., ensures the protection of users’ personal data by acting in accordance with the regulation and legislation (basis: Personal Data Protection Act – ZVOP-1, OG RS, no. 94/07, and General Data Protection Regulation – GDPR, effective date 25 May 2018).
For the purposes of online store operation, at www.odeja.si, Odeja d.o.o. collects the following user information: name and surname, address and place of residence, delivery address for goods ordered, e-mail address (username), password in encrypted form, and other data entered by the user upon online store registration or generated during communication between the client and the provider.
The provider shall use personal data in accordance with the guidelines of the EU GDPR, for purposes of order fulfilment and other communication required regarding the order.
In no event shall user data be disclosed to any unauthorised persons.
The provider is not liable for the accuracy of data listed by the user upon registration in the online store. The user also bears responsibility for protection their personal data, specifically by ensuring the security of their username and password and with appropriate software (antivirus) protection of their computer.
The provider stores personal data for an unlimited period or until the user unsubscribes. As owner of personal data, the user is entitled to access, transcribe, copy, amend, correct, block, or request deletion of their personal data from the provider’s database. The user can withdraw their consent at any time by sending a written request by e-mail to email@example.com.
Exceptional disclosure of personal information
The information, collected and processed by Odeja d.o.o., shall be disclosed only if stipulated by the Law on the protection of personal data, or in good faith that such action is necessary for the proceedings on courts or other state bodies.
